Yes, any of the Daily Tours can be reserved as a private tour for an increased fee, as long as we have a tour guide available for the time you are looking for. Also, for an increased fee, most of the Group Tours can still be taken if you have less than the minimum required.
Yes, for Discover Providence and Independence Trail the minimum number of total participants required is 2 people. For Explore Providence and Duck Boat, Newport: Rhode Island’s Spectacular City by the Sea, and The Providence River Experience, the minimum number of total participants required is 4 people. If less than the minimum number of total participants required have booked a particular tour, the folks who have booked that tour will be given the opportunity to still take the tour by purchasing the minimum number of tickets required for that tour, or to switch to another time that tour is offered, or to switch to a different tour, or to receive a full refund. If a particular tour has not reached the minimum number of total participants required yet, we will contact all the ticket holders by 9:00am if their tour is scheduled for that morning, and by 12:00pm, if their tour is scheduled for that afternoon.
Yes, all of our buses are equipped with handrails to assist in climbing the two steps into the bus. In addition, all of our buses are equipped with a storage area where we can put mobility aids. Our buses are not equipped with wheelchair lifts, however.
